APC Building Maintenance ("APC", "we", "us" or "our") provides commercial cleaning, janitorial and building-maintenance services across British Columbia. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you provide to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

1. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit our quote-request or contact form, we collect:

• Your name and, if you provide it, your company or building name;
• Your email address and, optionally, your phone number;
• The service you're interested in and the details of your request.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. Our website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you submit solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
• Communicate with you about the services you asked about;
• Keep a record of our correspondence and any resulting service agreement.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

3. Service providers

Form submissions are transmitted securely (over HTTPS) and stored in our booking and CRM system, which is operated for us by third-party infrastructure providers. We use a reputable third-party email provider to deliver the notification of your enquiry to our team. These providers process the information only on our behalf and are bound to keep it confidential. Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts; when it does, Google may receive your IP address as part of serving those files.

Storage outside Canada. Some of these providers store and process data on servers located in the United States. This means your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and, while there, may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national-security authorities of that jurisdiction under its laws. If you would prefer not to submit information on this basis, please contact us by phone instead.

4. How long we keep it

We retain enquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a reasonable business record, after which it is deleted or anonymized. You may ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 6).

5. How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards — including encrypted transmission and access controls — to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

6. Your choices & rights

Under PIPEDA and BC PIPA, you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. To make a request, or to withdraw a consent you previously gave, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
